A+J Patient Advocacy is launching their inaugural Teen Council and applications are now open!
The A+J Patient Advocacy Teen Council is an opportunity for junior advocates to gain skills and knowledge, share their stories, and design content to share with the teen population at-large. The Council will begin September 1, 2023 and run through May 31, 2024.
Council members will learn new skills, practice sharing their stories while building confidence, meet other teens across the country, create content that will help other patients, and earn volunteer hours.
Members must be between the ages of 13-19, diagnosed with a medical or mental health condition (or be the sibling or child of someone with a diagnosis), be interested in health advocacy, and commit to serving the full term.
